I’ve just received this beautiful memory from my photos app.
At the beginning of July I did the Barcelona-Mallorca and it was one of the best gifts I have ever received from the Universe.
It had challenges and miracles as well.
Thinking about it makes my heart tick.

Happy again, after 3 days of being blocked in a port we didn’t like at all.

Yesterday I felt anxious for not being able to leave the port and today, despite the rainy forecast we set sail and enjoyed a beautiful rainbow.

For the evening I decided that it’s better to find shelter in another port. After at least 20 calls we were able to dock in a very small but also very cute port.

I found a proper kitchen after 5 months of cooking only on boats and I made some French Fries (as a celebration for being in France 😆 and also because I missed them and I had all the ingredients).

This room has shelves with lots of books, a chess board and also internet. I’ll enjoy a movie night with my daughter, just like the old times. 🙏

The only inconvenience here seams to be the lack of separate garbage bins for our trash. 🙁 The plus being that the showers have a water timer installed. 🚿

This is an example of what overflowing abundance can mean. It can create a mess and it can spend other resources like time, and opportunity.

Yesterday it was a great day for sailing but we couldn’t go out because we discovered an oily leak just before departing. It took us at least 1 hour to find out that we had too much diesel in the tank and it was overflowing.

3 hours in total to find the problem and clean up the mess.

If you look around your current life you will find such overflowing abundance that creates problems. Maybe you have too many clothes. Maybe too much food. Maybe too much make up.

What is overflowing in your life? Take a couple of minutes and think about this idea.

Day 5

Today and for the next week, I have guests. My daughter is visiting for her autumn holidays 😍

We are on the lake near Martigues - France. We crossed under a bridge that opened in front of us - amazing experience. I failed to raise my main sail 😬, raised the storm jib and had a beautiful sail afterwards.

Now in the port, cooking miso soup.
